"This place has the best chicken gizzards and livers in town. You can buy them by the pound here or mix the pound of gizzards and a pound of livers. There’s really good stuff not too expensive. I did not say it had a nap with spirit at all it does have good service and food is terrific. Thank you."

"Grew up in KC with Go Chicken Go - specifically the original downtown KCK location. I was in town for my 40th class reunion, couldn't stop thinking about livers and gizzards! Hit this "new" location, was not disappointed! Same deliciousness, deep fried, not greasy. There was a beautiful young lady that greeted me, with other friendly staff. Absolutely got my fix on, consistent and amazing as it was 35+ years ago. Only difference, you could order on-line, lol! Couldn't do that 35+ years ago!"

"Excuse the food on the floor as in my culture we sit on the floor and eat. Anyways, got a box full of gizzards that comes with 2 buttered rolls and sauce. Along with that I got some baked beans, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, pickled jalapenos, and a bottle of go chicken go sauce. Everything was cooked hot and fresh the guy at the register was very friendly and professional. Food just hits the spot!!! Jalapenos juicy and spicy mashed potatoes and gravy best combo Mac and cheese hits the spot good. Beans were sweet but not too sweet. Just perfect but the gizzards with the rolls was phenomenal!!! Will order again meal good for 3 people!!!"

"Was referred here by an employee at a local fast food joint who used to live in Kansas city. His enthusiasm encouraged me to try it. Walked in, and the girl at the register was super friendly and helpful with the menu. When we explained that it was our first time. She tells us the livers and gizzards are popular as well as the wings. So that's exactly what we ordered. She even gave us a small sample of the liver and gizzards to sample! They were really good! Not a Crunchy overfried piece at all. The livers were very irony, and the gizzrds had a chew to them. Both are delicious. The wings were cooked to perfection as well. Tender, juicy, and the breading was perfectly fried. It came with what they call "G" sauce, which was something like I have never had. The best way to describe it was, it's like a pace picante sauce, with coctail sauce and an asian zing. Jusy completely different but absolutely works! When you dip your piece of chicken into it it doesnt drip off and it coats your bite nicely. A must try! The mashed potatoes are imitation and you wont hear anybody say anything special about em. But the macaroni and cheese was incredible. Must try! Oh we also ordered the chicken strips and they were pretty massive chunks lf meat. One last item i wanted to point out was the rolls that come with your meal... wow!!! Buttered and i could literally eat a couple of dozen of them just by themselves!"

"Love! Love! Love Go bird! I always get a 3 piece chicken strip dinner with a side of mash & Mac n cheese. Absolutely delicious as always! The chicken strips are equivalent to about a large breast or 1.5 medium sized breast. Fresh, hot, juicy, crispy breading... My absolute favorite!"
